Ulysses Offers Special Trial to NaNoWriMo Participants

Ulysses for Mac is one of my favorite writing apps, and one I use every day when I sit down to write. It’s a well-crafted writing experience, and it gives me joy everyday thanks to the perfect balance of simplicity, good design, and power user features.

This month is the National Novel Writing Month, and the team at Ulysses is generously giving away extended trials of Ulysses for Mac to NaNoWriMo contestants.

Here’s The Soulmen’s co-founder and creative director Marcus Fehn on the offer:

“Ulysses is exactly what we believe a writing application should be. It lets authors work in a pleasant environment, so they can focus on their texts, but it also meets the organizational needs of long writing projects. NaNoWriMo is perfect for real-life performance testing, and we hope that many authors take this special opportunity and download the free trial.”

Ulysses is a great piece of professional writing software, and it’s great to see developers taking part in events like these. Great initiative, and a great deal for ‘Wrimos’ — participants of NaNoWriMo.
